This is a new recipe, created by accident during a cooking class. Scott was placed in charge of mashing avocados and before I knew it he had added tequila to the mix….and it was good. So we now have Scott’s soon-to-be-famous guac-quila-mole.
Taqueria Style Guacamole with Tequila
4 large ripe avocados, pitted, skin removed, chopped into large dice
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 Tablespoons tequila
Place avocado pieces in a medium bowl and mash with a fork or a potato masher until nearly smooth. Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Add cold water, 1 teaspoon at a time, to get a creamy consistency. Serve with chips or as a side for a taco bar. Enjoy!
