Here is the recipe created at a Mexican cooking class I gave last week for the best Margarita ever. It is strong, but oh-so-good! Great job with the bar, Scott. Even spilled tequila in the guacamole, accidentally-on-purpose. Enjoy!
Super John’s Awesome Margarita
1 ounce Tequila, preferably silver made with blue agave
1/2 ounce good quality brandy
1 ounce orange liqueur, Harlequin or Cointreau
juice from 1 lime
juice from half of an orange
Moisten the edge of a glass with the cut edge of a lime wedge. Dip glass into salt, creating an even rim around the edge. Mix ingredients together with ice into cocktail shaker. Strain into salt lined glasses. Garnish with a small slice of fresh lime. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
