Makes: about 1 cup onions
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (Bragg’s brand)
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 medium red onion, sliced thin
1. Make Brine: In a quart jar or other jar with a lid, add cider vinegar, sugar, salt and 1 cup water. Replace lid. Shake thoroughly until salt and sugar has dissolved.
2. Soak Onion: Add onion and replace lid. Shake to coat onion, then let set 15 minutes before using. Will keep for 1 week refrigerated. Enjoy!
